Creating Email Accounts in cPanel
Step 1: Access Email Accounts
- Log in to your cPanel
- Find the "Email" section
- Click on "Email Accounts"
Step 2: Create New Account
- Click the "+ Create" button
- Fill in the following fields:
Username: The part before the @ symbol
- Common examples: info, support, sales, admin, contact
- Personal: firstname, firstname.lastname
Domain: Select your domain from dropdown
Password: Create a strong password
- Use the "Generate" button for strong passwords
- Minimum 8 characters recommended
- Include uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols
Storage Space: Allocate mailbox size
- 250 MB: Light email use
- 500 MB - 1 GB: Average use
- 2 GB+: Heavy use with attachments
- Unlimited: If your plan allows
Step 3: Create Account
- Click "Create" button
- Note down the email address and password
- The account is now ready to use!
Email Account Settings
After creation, you'll see important settings:
Webmail Access:
- URL: yourdomain.com/webmail
- Or: mail.yourdomain.com
- Or: server.bloomhosting.io/webmail
Email Client Settings:
- Username: full email address
- Password: your email password
- Incoming Server (IMAP): mail.yourdomain.com
- IMAP Port: 993 (SSL)
- Incoming Server (POP3): mail.yourdomain.com
- POP3 Port: 995 (SSL)
- Outgoing Server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com
- SMTP Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)
Managing Email Accounts
Change Password:
- Find the email account in the list
- Click "Manage"
- Click "Change Password"
- Enter new password
Change Quota:
- Click "Manage" on the account
- Click "Change Quota"
- Enter new size or select unlimited
Delete Account:
- Click "Delete" next to the account
- Confirm deletion
- Warning: This permanently deletes all emails!
Accessing Your Email
Option 1: Webmail
- Go to yourdomain.com/webmail
- Choose a webmail client (Roundcube, Horde)
- Login with email and password
Option 2: Email Client
Configure desktop or mobile apps:
- Outlook
- Thunderbird
- Apple Mail
- Gmail app
- iPhone/Android Mail

- Create role-based emails: info@, support@, sales@
- Use strong, unique passwords for each account
- Enable spam filtering
- Set up email forwarders for team distribution
- Configure autoresponders for out-of-office
- Regularly backup important emails
- Delete old emails to free up space
