Getting Started with cPanel

Your cPanel control panel is the central hub for managing your hosting account. This guide will help you navigate its features.

Accessing cPanel

You can access cPanel in two ways:

1. From your client dashboard, click "Manage Hosting" on your service
2. Direct URL: yourdomain.com/cpanel or server.bloomhosting.io:2083

cPanel Dashboard Overview

The cPanel interface is organized into several sections:

Files Section

• File Manager: Upload, edit, and manage your website files
• Disk Usage: Monitor your storage space
• FTP Accounts: Create FTP accounts for file access
• Backup: Download backups of your website

Databases Section

• MySQL Databases: Create and manage databases
• phpMyAdmin: Direct database management interface
• Remote MySQL: Allow external database connections

Email Section

• Email Accounts: Create email addresses
• Forwarders: Set up email forwarding
• Autoresponders: Automatic email replies
• Spam Filters: Reduce unwanted emails

Domains Section

• Addon Domains: Host multiple domains
• Subdomains: Create subdomains
• Redirects: Set up URL redirects
• Zone Editor: Manage DNS records

Quick Actions

Most common tasks you'll perform:

1. Upload Files: File Manager → Upload button
2. Install WordPress: Softaculous Apps Installer → WordPress
